This interactive Java applet allows users to develop three dimensional spacial visualization through several activities. In three activities users explore the relationship between volume and surface area by constructing figures with 8 cubes on a drawing board in order to produce a given surface area, or to maximize or minimize the shape's surface area. Four other activities require the user to identify the matching net of a cube when it is unfolded.
