Draft K-3 CCSS Progression on Categorical Data; Draft 2-5 Progression on Measurement Data

This narrative document describes the progression of Categorical and Measurement Data across the K-5 grade band. It is informed both by research on children's cognitive development and by the logical structure of mathematics. The document discusses the most important goals for data collection, display, and analysis; beginning with categorical data in grades k-2 and progressing to measurement data in grades 2-5.
