      Don't ignore older students

    • Happy to see this one recommended thru 5th grade. Students going on to complicated fraction algorithms often get the rules without the concepts we carefully teach about operation/number sense when they tackle whole numbers - and some don't relate halving/doubling to dividing and multiplying.
